  • The wireless Apple CarPlay upgrade is available for Accord models from 2018 to 2022.
  • Owners can have the update installed at any Honda dealership in the U.S. for a suggested price of $112, plus additional labor fees.
  • Service appointments for the upgrade can be booked through local Honda dealership websites.
  • Approximately 631,000 Accords equipped with wired-only CarPlay are eligible for this wireless enhancement.
  • Honda's initiative aims to improve the ownership experience and increase the market value of existing vehicles, in line with the company's goal for zero environmental impact by 2050.
  • In addition to wireless CarPlay, the upgrade also introduces wireless Android Auto capability.

According to Jay Joseph, Honda's Vice President of Sustainability, "Enhancing the ownership experience and market value of Honda vehicles already in use is a key strategy in pursuit of our goal to have zero environmental impact by 2050."
